[nb-NO]Scope and Content[nb-NO]70 pages of black and white photographs taken by Capital J Plan Printing & Photographic Co. PTY. LTD (company based in Braddon). Photographs taken from 17 January 1958 and document the laying of the foundation stone and construction of the Academy building [Becker Hall] [Shine Dome]. Album also includes newspaper cutting of heading from the Territory newspaper showing the Shine Dome as one of the graphics.
[nb-NO]Archival history[nb-NO]Uncertain when item came into collection of Academy circa 1959. Appears to have been commissioned (perhaps by Grounds, Romberg & Boyd architectural company or by the Australian Academy of Science to document to construction of the Academy building.
